Billion Oyster Project


During the summer of 2017, I worked with the Billion Oyster Project, helping teachers and students engage in citizen science projects around ecological restoration in New York City's waterways. Together, we installed oyster cages, monitored water quality, developed teacher confidence in project-based learning, and forged community partnerships for healthier, more ecologically productive waterfronts.
